    Problem

    Equipment theft within sensitive infrastructures requires the implementation of an end-to-end solution encompassing incident detection and characterization as a “confirmed theft”, mobilization of intervention teams, and the availability of information and tools enabling them to respond effectively.

    Solution 

    ASTAO Geoprotect is a solution for securing sensitive equipment and infrastructure that provides full functional coverage:

    - Tracker: a self-powered device attached to high-risk equipment that detects any movement, geolocates the object, and communicates all relevant information to an alert management platform.
    - Alert management platform: a server that receives and analyzes messages sent by the trackers and sends alerts to remote surveillance teams. The platform must have efficient notification channels to ensure a rapid response in the event of an incident (email, sms, voice call, etc.). It must also provide access to the alerts and any related information to verify the alert and guide response teams.
    - Remote surveillance center: when an alert is triggered, this 24/7 service processes and verifies the alerts, and mobilizes the intervention teams, as necessary.
